Forecast was originally established to supply U.S. Ignition Manufacturers and Private Label accounts with import application items such as point sets, condensers, distributor caps, and rotors. While focusing on this high-volume customer base, Forecast developed exclusive partnerships with overseas manufacturers which were eager to tool for new products destined to service the rapidly growing import vehicle population in the U.S..
In a very short period of time, virtually the entire aftermarket was depending on the "Forecast Network" to engineer and tool for the latest applications to complete their product offerings. The tremendous success that Forecast shared with its manufacturing partners, as well as its satisfied customers, lead to the development of new product lines, including the most comprehensive range of ignition coils, ignition modules, throttle position sensors, air filters, and crank angle sensors, air and fuel filters, water pumps and wire sets currently available.
Forecast now maintains the largest inventory and broadest range of Engine Management Components in the country, from which the company's aftermarket customers are serviced on either a bulk or custom-packaged basis.
